Laser hair removal works by sending short pulses of laser light that disable hundreds of unwanted hair follicles in seconds, with only mild discomfort. Only hairs that are currently in the growth phase are affected by the treatment, so multiple treatments are necessary to target all of the growth cycles for the area being treated. Most areas require between 6 and 12 comfortable treatments, depending on factors such as the hair’s thickness, the area treated, and the hair’s growth cycle.

PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT: Please ensure you follow the instructions below prior to your appointment, or we may need to reschedule your treatment:
- Discontinue any waxing/plucking or other hair removal methods at least two weeks prior to your appointment;
- No sun exposure or use of a tanning bed at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment, and 2 weeks after your appointment;
- Note that this treatment eliminates dark hair only.
